Mikko: Hey, wow, Finland is the least corrupted nation on Earth, cool!
wintermute: Mikko: Corrupted by what?
Bourne: Weasels.
Bourne: Weasels corrupt, and absolute weasels corrupt absolutely.
wintermute: I'm pretty sure they got corrupted by the EU, for one thing.
Mikko: wim: I mean, police and court etc. corruption, like...Finland is the nation where police and such aren't bribed as much as anywhere else.
Bourne: The absolute weasel being, of course, a cross breed of Russian and Hungarian weasels, first noted by eminent Zoologist, Henry Fistinbladder.
wintermute: And distilled into vodka? Or am I thinking of Absolut Weasels?
[RinkChat] The chat room's topic has been changed to 'Weasels corrupt, and absolute weasels corrupt absolutely' by wintermute.
Mikko: :-P
Mikko: Toatally 31337 topic. Yay Bourne.
Bourne: No, you're perfectly correct. Absolut Vodka is made by squeezing the weasel in a specially made weasel press. More human presses have been introduced since the famous court scandals of 1975, which some say has led to a sharp drop in vodka quality.
Bourne: *humane
wintermute: I prefer the idea of human presses.
Bourne: Finding the staff is difficult, though. Not many people have what it takes to squeeze weasels over a 10 hour shift.
wintermute: And even fewer who can squeeze weasels over those thin-necked bottles.
Zarniwoop: Yeah, I'd imagine that'd be hard.
Bourne: It's a dying art, the weasel squeeze. The fad for flavoured vodkas delivered the coup de grace. No man alive can hold the limes, weasel and squeeze effectively at the same time.
Zarniwoop: Maybe they just aren't prepared to train properly.
Bourne: Automated processes are faster and cheaper to implement than wholesale weasel squeezer re-education plans. It all boils down to capitalism, in the end.
Bourne: Right. That's enough silliness for today - I'd better get back to the lab and grapple with a bagful of Bombay Sapphire Ferrets.
Bourne: I'll catch you guys later. Have a good one!
Mikko: See ya B!
Mikko: You forgot the point, Absolut Vodka is not Finnish, it's...Swedish.
Bourne has left.
